Ingredients:
- 1½ lbs. ground beef
- 1 TBSP s.a.l.t. sisters Pink Himalayan Mineral Salt, fine divided
- 1 TBSP s.a.l.t. sisters Applewood Smoked Peppercorns, divided
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 soft hamburger buns
- Butter lettuce
- 4 tomato slices
- Mayonnaise or any other condiment of your choice
Directions:
- To start, blend Pink Himalayan Mineral Salt & Applewood Smoked Peppercorns together. Spread the ground beef evenly and sprinkle on salt & pepper mixture. Gently form the meat into 4 balls, then lightly press into patties. Season the patties on both sides with the remaining salt and pepper.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over high heat. Place the patties on the grill and cook undisturbed until marked on the bottom, about 3–5 minutes. Flip the patties and grill the other side for another 3–5 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of grilling to melt. Toast the hamburger buns lightly on the grill, if desired.
- Assemble the burgers: place a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with butter lettuce, a tomato slice, and mayonnaise or your preferred condiment. Close the burgers with the top half of the buns.
- Serve the Smoked Peppercorn Beef Burgers immediately, accompanied by your favorite side dishes or additional toppings as desired.
