Ingredients

1 lb. fresh mozzarella

4 medium heirloom tomatoes

1 bunch fresh basil, leaves only (some reserved for garnish)

Directions

While the mozzarella is still cold, slice into ¼-inch rounds. Set aside and allow it to come to room temperature.

Slice tomatoes into ¼- to ½-inch rounds and arrange in a single layer. Sprinkle generously with Black Garlic Salt.

On a serving platter, layer the mozzarella, tomato slices, and basil leaves so they slightly overlap.
