Blue Cheese, Walnut and Golden Raisin Crostini
24 1/4 –inch-thick slices of baguette bread
2 tablespoons walnut oil
1/3 cup golden raisins
1/3 cup white wine
½ cup chopped toasted walnuts
8 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
4 tablespoons minced shallots
Sel Gris French Sea Salt
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Arrange bread slices on baking sheet. Brush bread slices on topside with walnut oil. Bake until crisp, about 3-5 minutes, just until slightly toasted.
Place raisins and wine in a small sauté pan. Simmer until all wine is absorbed. Watching carefully so not to burn.
Mix walnuts, cheese, shallots, and golden raisins in medium bowl. Spread mixture on toasts. Sprinkle with Sel Gris French Sea Salt. Bake until cheese melts, about 4 minutes.
