Who said it was just a beverage?  Let the rich, nutty flavor of coffee take your grilling to a whole new level.  Our brilliantly blended coffee rub harnesses the tastiest aspects of a dark roast espresso with additions of smoked sea salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and sweet paprika to name a few.  The end result is truly addictive and will make any dish you create a chef worthy one.

Uses:  Great for steaks, rubs, pork loin and don't forget chichen!  Just rub the seasoning onto your meat of choice then grill or pan-fry as usual.

Ingredients:  Unrefined sea salt, coconut sugar, coffee, black pepper, paprika, chile pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, chile powder, garlic, onion

Grilled Java Rib-Eye Steak

2/3 cup olive oil
4 TBS s.a.l.t sisters Not Your Sister's Coffee Rub & Seasoning
1 (1lb) rib-eye steaks, trimmed

In a small bowl, whisk olive oil and Coffee Rub & Seasoning then set aside.  Place steaks in a resealable plastic bag, pour the coffee rub marinade over them, then push out as much air as you can and findly seal the bag.  Rub bag between your hands to distribute the marinade over all surfaces of the steak.  Refrigerate for at least an hour and up to 8 hours. 

Prepare grill to high heat.  Transfer seasoned steaks to the hot grill and cook for 4-6 minutes on each side for medium-rare, longer if desired.  Remove steaks, cover with foil and let set for 5-10 minutes before serving.
