Pickled Red Onions 

Recipe adapted from Bobby Flay 

 

¾ cup lime juice 

¼ cup red wine vinegar 

¼ cup sugar 

1 tablespoon s.a.l.t. sisters Sel Gris French Sea Salt 

1 medium red onion, thinly sliced 

 

Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.  Remove from heat and let cool, 5 minutes.  Place the onion in a bowl and add the pickling liquid; cover and chill at least 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
