Thai Fried Bananas 

Serves 4

2 tablespoons butter 

4 firm bananas, peeled, cut into 1-inch pieces 

¼ cup brown sugar or 1/3 cup coconut sugar 

1 teaspoon black sesame seeds 

 Pinch of Red Ka’nani Hawaiian Sea Salt  

1 lime, juiced 

 

Over high heat add butter in a large non-stick sauté pan.  Once melted, toss in the banana and add the sugar.  Cook until the sugar is caramelized over the bananas.  Stir in sesame seeds, sea salt, and lime juice.
