Grilled Java Rib-eye Steaks
- 2/3 cup olive oil
- 4 TBS s.a.l.t. sisters Not Your Sisters' Coffee Rub & Seasoning
- 2 (1 lb) rib-eye steaks, trimmed
In a small bowl, whisk olive oil and Coffee Rub & Seasoning then set aside. Place steaks in a resealable plastic bag, pour the coffee rub marinade over them, then push out as much air as you can and finally seal the bag. Rub bag between your hands to distribute the marinade over all surfaces of the steak. Refrigerate for at least an hour and up to 8 hours.
Prepare grill to high heat. Transfer seasoned steaks to the hot grill and cook for 4-6 minutes on each side for medium-rare, longer if desired. Remove steaks, cover with foil and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
