Salsa di Parma Bread
Serves 4-6
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon s.a.l.t. sisters Salsa di Parma
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat leaf parsley, optional
- 1 loaf Italian or French bread cut in half length-wise
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Add olive oil and butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the Salsa di Parma and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Take off heat and stir in parsley. Place bread on a baking sheet. Brush each half of the bread with the melted mixture using all of the mixture.
Place the bread in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, watching carefully not to burn.
