Ingredients

1 flatbread or prepared pizza crust

Directions

Preheat the oven according to flatbread packaging or until hot and ready to crisp the crust.

Spread ricotta or butter over the flatbread in an even layer. Top with a sprinkle of finishing salt.

Scatter caramelized onions (recipe below), tomatoes, and parmesan. Bake until the crust is crisp and the cheese (if using) is melted—typically 8–10 minutes.

Add prosciutto, arugula, & balsamic glaze before slicing and serving warm.

Caramelized Onions:

Extra-virgin olive oil, as needed

2 small onions, thinly sliced

½ tsp brown sugar
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions in olive oil and butter. Add brown sugar and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft and caramelized, about 20 minutes. Set aside.
