Habanero Rice
- 1 Tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Tbs sesame oil
- 1 cup white onion, diced
- 1 cup Jasmine rice
- 2 cups chicken broth, low sodium
- ½-1 tsp s.a.l.t. sisters Habanero Sea Salt
- 1 cup carrots, peeled & diced
- 2 Tbs teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 Tbs green onion, chopped
- Handful of bean sprouts
Directions
Preheat a stockpot to medium-high heat. Add EVOO, sesame oil, onion and rice. Sautè for 2-3 minutes until the onions are translucent. Add chicken broth, Habanero Sea Salt and carrots, then bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Take off heat, then stir in peas, green onions and bean sprouts.
